After they've gotten out of prison, I don't see why their voting rights can't be restored.  The idea should be that if they get out of prison, they're capable of being normal citizens again.

Sure. The person payed thier time, so now they are re-instated all of thier rights that they lost.

What about the person who was murdered? Do they get their rights restored...opps nope, they were murdered.

Murder is not the only felony.
