In terms of county-level machines, I'm not sure: I think bronz is just engaging in more of his vaguely-coded racial and/or geographic stereotypes with his suggestions. Reid's influence in Clark County is pretty impressive by modern standards; it may be the most powerful contemporary machine at that level (as in, not influential because they're coasting on power accumulated a century ago or whatever).

At the state level and until recently, I would have said the MN-DFL, but now I'm not so sure...it's certainly still a huge presence in local culture and that is worth something.
