headed in to Super Tuesday it is likely that it will be a three man race on the GOP side. McCain v Romney v Huckabee...with Rudy likely to drop out.

Without Rudy his moderate and national security minded voters are likely to drift to McCain. Which leaves Romney and Huckabee splitting the social conservatives.

It seems to me that Romney's only chance is to talk Huck into a drop out. Would he float a cabinet post or will Huckabee stick with it since he is having so much fun

thoughts?

McCain has it. It's hard to believe he'll lose now.

I forget the pundit's name, but some guy on MSNBC just said that he thinks Huckabee and McCain might be coordinating...maybe with a Huckabee spot on the ticket. An interesting notion that he would stay in to ensure being a spoiler to help McCain

Also, Huck voters might prefer Mac to Romney. Southerners are very uncomfortable with Romney, and I don't think its only the religion. We value authenticity, and that's the one thing he absolutely doesn't have.

Huck stole a lot of Mitt support tonight.  The longer he stays the harder it is for the other huckster.

Tim Russert just stated that McCain is 'dangling' the VP slot in front of Huckabee to keep him in through super tuesday

McCain Huckabee....sounds like the GOP is transitioning from conservatism to neo-conservatism...in every form of the word. BRTD will kill me for this.
