As Secretary of Forum Affairs, welcome to the forum and thank you for your interest in the game.

Unfortunately, an account must both be at least 15 days old and have a minimum of 50 posts anywhere on the forum before registrations can be accepted here.

You need to resign your office since you clearly lack the professionalism for the job.

Yeah we need someone objective for the job...how about someone like rebeltarian? Or perhaps Vane?

Hmm, well they would certainly be improvements in the respect department.

Respect has to be earned.

Respect has to be earned.

Someone who holds a federal office has an obligation to show respect to all Atlasians.

Incorrect. I have an obligation to conduct voter registration and voting fairly and equally. My comments are irrelevant to that task.

Plus its always good to be on good terms with the SoFA. Wink You never know when you might need a trashcan full of previously uncounted votes in King County. Tongue

Well I prefer to keep them in my desk here rather than a trashcan....but yeah, you got the right picture Smiley

I remember somebody contacting me many moons ago about this. I suppose I'll join if I fit the requirements.

Yes, you are eligible to register to vote, although unfortunately, you won't be able to vote in senatorial election starting tomorrow because of the late registration.

For the future though, you're in.

Sorry to bump this thread again, but I noticed in the Introduction Thread I made an error regarding the order. I don't know if it's necessary, but I figure there's no harm.

And also, I'm no longer a Independent Maverick thingy, sorry.

It's no problem....I didn't even notice the order Smiley

Moving To Virgina. Not that it matters as I'll still be in the same mideast region

So I can  move to another state within the region without any of these silly consequences like with move to another region?

And while within the same region, that does not affect offices holding, right?

No, changing a state has the same rules, regardless of whether within a region or from one to another.

No, changing a state has the same rules, regardless of whether within a region or from one to another.

So, if I move from RI to other NE state, it means I lose regionwide office?

Just curious.

No, but it counts as a state change and makes you wait 180 days to move again.

At one time we had Districts for the Class B Senate seats. Districts were done every 4 months and were attempted to have their population as close as possible. Since we no longer use Districts, there really isn't a point to having moves between states count.

I would support eliminating state registration entirely actually...it'd make my job easier as well.

Could you specify which party you mean? There is no party by the name of "R".

Oh I think it's pretty obvious what party he truly intends to join.

The SoFA can't assume these things Smiley

Sigh. I hope the RPP can become a centrist vehicle of sorts, but the history of the RPP leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Given that the RPP is inherently evil, I don't know why you would want that.

Because I'm evil, of course.

Actually he needs 73 more posts.  THIS is why I wanted pre-registration.
Though I originally disagreed, I have to agree with the President now. It would make our recruitment force a heckuva lot easier. Wink

But it shouldn't be made easier, whether it benefits us or not.

Over/under on how long before he leaves the JCP in a huff: four weeks.

I'll take under, especially considering the fights he started a couple of months ago with bgwah.

Kalwejt, if you weren't my friend, my reaction would be "LOL".

In this case however, *facepalm* describes my feelings better.

Yeah....that's true most of the time. Smiley
