Pol Pot : I think he pushed farther than anyone the notion of mass extermination and torture.

Kim Jong-Il (but I put Kim Il-Sung altogether) : Besides the abominable dictatorship, he's responsible for the longest-lasting personality cult in history. Even Hitler wasn't as megalomaniac.

Breivik : If there ever was some excuse for being a racist hateful piece of sh*t in the 1930s, there's none left in the 2010.

Charles Manson : Just as bad, I think.

People on the list worse than Hitler?

Mengele and Pol Pot, in my opinion. I consider Dzhugashvili and Mao on par with Hitler but truly do not have a useful way of distinguishing in which order to rank their respective lifetime earnings of WTF'ness points. The others are quite bad, but I do not see them being quite at the top of the list.

Mao is definitely right up there but whether or not he is worse in my view is dependent on how much he actually knew of the suffering of the Chinese people in the name of his revolution. Its one thing if he was just sheltered in his own world up north while the party members just told him what he wanted to hear and made all the numbers, but quite another if he new of the tens of millions who died from his actions.

It is funny to me how no one has chosen Bundy- I didnt either. Because he always appeared to be such a normal guy no one sees him as truly evil...he may have killed more people then Manson, I haven't checked but because Manson is a clear basketcase people point ot him as true evil
