Love them both. But I'd rather Kander run for Senate in 2018(against McCaskill) or 2022.

A democratic ticket without a female on it would be a terrible decision and likely depress turnout when females have been pivotal in the elections since 2016.  And don't tell me "I don't care about gender; I just want the two best candidates for the job" and then suggest such a weak ticket like this (no-name Senator who hasn't been able to build a national profile and a no-job Democrat who only has his national profile going for him).  Especially when the Democratic bench has a plethora of strong, capable and talented females all in contention.

Your wrong, Kander would be excellent. He would unite the party's progressive and moderate wings, which is what we need! He made  a senate race in Missouri very competitive losing by only 3 points, while Hillary lost by double digits. He has a clear progressive message but is also a veteran, which would make him very respected. And please spare me the "I'm tired of white men being nominated for anything".(BTW, he would be the first JEWISH president) I think he might need more experience before stepping into the position of POTUS, but as a candidate he would be stellar.
