Since this is Atlas, Pence will likely win this pretty easily, but among registered Republicans outside of Atlas, I think we know who's actually more popular.

That's only because Fox News hasn't been promoting Pence's brand the way they have been doing for Trump and did for Bush.  Once he ascends to the Oval Office, and the Fox News Channel to start cranking its gears, wait for Trump's supporters to fall in line for him.  Especially if he is billed as their last best chance to keep the White House in Republican hands.

Gun to head, Trump. But I would easily take both of them over Warren or Sanders, both a relative tie for Biden, and a slight slant in the favor of Bullock or Yang

Trump. Pence will push the neo-con agenda. The only decent part of trump is criminal justice reform and avoiding a new war

Pence.

His viewpoints are far more conservative than mine, but at least he's an actual conservative instead of pretending to be one.

Trump.  He understands the geopolitical threat of China, the hypocrisy of the EU members, and the GOP should become more economically populist.

Pence is a throwback to the early 2000s SoCons.  People perceive him as a bible thumper, and that isn't entirely without merit.

Never-Trumpers, UNITE! GO TEAM GO!!

Y'all are cute, and coming from a family of Never-Trumpers, I do sympathize, but outside the Atlas bubble there isn't a whole lot you can do.

Trump, because he actually has a chance to win. Pence does not.

Pence by far. I like what Trump had done from a policy perspective, but he has no self discipline and has the extraordinary to ability to alienate wealthy center right voters.

I will in fact concede that Trump's lack of self-discipline (and his preference for incompetent boobs like Rudy) is easily his greatest liability.

With Pence, republicans would have limited their losses in the House to 20/25 seats and would have 55/56 seats in the Senate.

You have also all these stupid tweets. Just look at the one from this morning where he is wishing a good birthday to Communist China.

Total misunderstanding of the conservative mindset. Guys like McCain, Romney, Pence could never win over the hearts and minds of Republicans one-on-one with Trump. Those are begrudging votes, not inspired ones. They're not fighters. Trump is a fighter.

Trump. Even though they're both toxic, Pence is more toxic policy-wise, which is what matters.

I think that's a symptom of a greater liability: he now relies on Fox News, lunatic fringe sites, and conspiracy theories originating on 4chan as his primary sources of information. This is your crackpot grandpa. And if advisors don't align with the kek-o-sphere, they get tossed out for someone who does.

That's how you end up with incompetent boobs like Rudy. They are either willing to go along with the lunatic fringe, or are fellow crackpot grandpas.

If Trump is losing, and can't listen to reason as far as how to right his campaign, going on ignorantly thinking the polls are fake news and he's heading for a landslide, he's going to dig himself one helluva hole. If I were a Republican, that would give me tremendous pause.
