I'm surprised it isn't already banned there. You'd think WA along with OR would have been the very first to ban it.

The West has a strong "law and order" streak.  Look at California. 

But the Pacific Northwest has been the most socially liberal region in the country, at least in recent decades.

- Oregon was a state that rejected giving illegal immigrants driver licenses by nearly a 2:1 vote :

There are very few states that wouldn't reject giving illegal immigrants drivers licenses. That's not a great way to measure.
