Coin toss.

Both men were exceedingly horrible in their own little ways.  Namely, both seemed to suscribe to the school of "governance by rhetoric" rather than any sort of concrete ideology.  Reagan was made of Teflon, Kennedy was made of paper mache.  Pretty words, but no substance.

Dont hate, but I prefer JFK's influence on the Democratic Party to Reagan's on the GOP, if only because Johnny was the last small-government Democrat in the Oval.

And cue the trolls.  [cracks knuckles].  I'm ready.  Gimme all you got!

Not going to hate, but I wouldn't really call the President who advocated the "New Frontier" to be small government.

None of it would've passed were it not for LBJ.  LBJ rammed through Medicare, Medicaid, etc.  the only thing little boy blue would've done is expand NASA, and I'm okay with space corporatism, so long as theres a private sector by 1980s.

Ummmm......the Kennedy Administration was known for being the most active administration since FDR's first term.  And for good reason.
Benefits expanded, city aid, water pollution control act, and agricultural acts to raise farmer incomes.

Sure, it's not the Great Society, but I wouldn't say that all of the government expansion happened under LBJ either.
So yes, NASA wasn't the only thing "little boy blue" expanded.

The idea of Kennedy as the "Do Nothing" is a myth.
