I think this is the first time NYCMM has posted something good.

Pleasantly surprised that Tulsi Gabbard doesn't yet feature prominently in this thread.

I want to keep this thread rated PG.

Biden - To old, I remember when he ran pre-Obama presidency run and he struggled to get 1% of the vote. Not electable and will definitely lose to Trump. I think the long campaign will slow him down.

Sanders - Soooo 2016, his time is gone and he does remind me of the crazy old loon that every now and then has a point but not enough.

Warren - Hello Pocahontas!!! It will be a train-wreck of a campaign if she is the nominee. The Trump rallies, the jokes taking the mickey out of Pocahontas it will be socialism and bottom line is shes from Massachuetts the state that bought kennedy, Kerry etc etc the same old story that never plays well middle of America. She would be a disaster in places like Ohio, Florida, Iowa, Minnesota, North Carolina.

Gabbard - I love her and she's my second choice. She speaks sense and she's a democrat I'd knock on doors for all day long. She's a republicans nightmare.

Klobachar is for me the most electable candidate against Donald Trump. She's the candidate every democrat in tight congressional districts wants on the ballot. She can de-fuse Trump. She will be hard to attack from the republican right. It's a far stretch to call her a crazy liberal. Fox news will find it difficult to go after her but they will but middle America/surburban America she's the right person. The best candidate by a mile. All the political pundits know it. She's not loud, she doesn't rant and rave but she gets bills and laws passed.

With the democratic machine and money once she has the nomination behind her she can pick up the votes of small town suburban America. Biden, Warren and Sanders are to much of a risk and candidates at the bottom of the ticket in marginal congressional districts will struggle.

I basically agree with yours.  PA could have been a one-time thing for Trump, but he's likely to improve in the rest of the Midwest and AZ is more likely to flip Dem than not.  GA has maybe a 1-in-3 chance of flipping, but it should be Dem for a very long time after 2020.

Florida could also be a surprise Trump+5 win, but South Florida makes this more uncertain.

It doesn't fit with your categories, but I could see Kansas surprisingly being only like Trump+8.

Yeah, KS, UT, RI would be my choices if we’re talking about safe R/D states being surprisingly close (don’t buy that UT is guarateed to swing R, and RI even swung nine points to Bush in 2004). If things get really weird and Trump improves in the popular vote or 2020 is 2016 on steroids, maybe ME voting Trump +5 or something like that.

That is an easy one NV and CO would have voted in 2000 or 2004 for Gore or John Kerry.

Morans are a big factor in AZ, CO amd NV, as Harry Reid was a Moran

Harry Reid was a Moran.

Bernie isn't falling. He's just not gaining like Warren.

A rumor has been circulating for centuries that Iceland and Greenland had been mistaken for each other when they were given their names.

As I recall, Greenland got its deceptive name from Erik the Trump as part of a shady real estate deal.

I dreamt this morning that Beto was a substitute teacher teaching a 6th grade class that inexplicably had me in it and was exclusively adults. He was a "cool" teacher who let us watch Midsommar during class and then threw a Pokemon themed party with alcohol in his basement near the school.

Blumpf is finished now! I bet THIS will cause all his "WWC" supporters to vote Democratic! Because Americans totally vote based on economic statistics when many of them can't even do basic math!

The "kitchen table" photo is of a neoliberal kitchen table (look at that red wine and fine cake!). We need a real WWC kitchen table for full effect.

I'm dead. 🤣🤣

Fine, will this one I found from Owsley County, Kentucky suffice?

Warren is unelectable and will do worse than Hillary everywhere though

She very much will

But please, keep telling me how I'm "creating strawmen out of nowhere."

Yeah, not every trend is guaranteed to continue to the same extent as in 2016, but almost no one is arguing that this will happen.

Says this guy...
