Personal Religion, by Kierkegaard

36% Nature, 54% Rationalism, 50% Religion, 43% Freedom, 67% Individuality, 29% Power and 56% Uncertainty!

You scored highest on the variable Individuality. Individuality was an important part of Kierkegaard's philosophy.

Søren Kierkegaard, 1813- 1855, Denmark.

Kierkegaard thought true religion should be found within yourself and not in uniformity. He did not oppose Christianity, but he opposed the Christian Church. The Church preached faith for the masses by rituals and generalization, which makes one lose its identity and leads to despair. True peace can only be found within yourself. As more and more people claim to have a personal belief/religion instead of conforming to a church, I think Kierkegaard was ahead of his time.

Your result for The Political Objectives Test ...
Establishmentarian

You scored 43 Equality, 79 Liberty, and 71 Stability!

Your commitment to both liberty and stability makes you a blend of the Conservative and the Liberal. You are keen on notions of the person who is ambitious yet well-behaved - it is this kind of person who makes things tick and keeps things running. You value liberty particularly in economic life and embrace private enterprise. You also recognise the value of traditional culture and institutions. Occasionally your economic and cultural positions may clash but in general you will find practical ways to reconcile them. If this is too bland for you then try the Reactionary on for size.

Aquinas at the top makes sense but I would put Bentham much lower and Hume much higher.

WaPo

Rand Paul    69%
Jim Webb    68%
Ben Carson    61%
Bernie Sanders    59%
Carly Fiorina    58%
John Kasich    58%
Hillary Clinton    58%
Chris Christie    57%
Martin O'Malley    57%
Ted Cruz    56%
Jeb Bush    52%
Lindsey Graham    52%
Mike Huckabee    52%
George Pataki    51%
Marco Rubio    51%
Rick Santorum    49%
Jim Gilmore    48%
Donald Trump    45%

Paul and Webb is about right, but if you look at the charts it makes no sense with Clinton and Sanders having identical scores on foreign policy and law and order issues.  And why Carly and Rubio and Gilmore can be distinguished that much is hard for me to imagine.

Your result for Nationstates Gameplay Ideology Test ...

Centrist Defender

69% Liberty, 62% Equality, 62% Stability and 42% Power!

You feel that all three principles are important. You take some interest in politics and definitely have opinions. However those opinions may be formed on a case-by-case basis because you lack an overriding commitment to any of the principles. You may sometimes get confused by complex political issues because you can be persuaded by different arguments. Moderates like yourself are important in mediating between others in a parliamentary democracy. If you get involved in politics then you may well be working alongside the pragmatists among Conservatives or Liberals or Socialists depending on your inclinations and circumstances.

You are generally opposed to militarism and would rather people settle disputes through diplomacy rather than war, but you aren't averse to defending the weak against attack.

Your result for The Political Personality Test ...

HRTI
Horizontalist - Reformist - Traditionalist - Individualist

You prefer liberal economics and conservative social values. You support democracy and oppose big government.

Examples of historical HRTIs include:

David Cameron - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_cameron

What Kind of Alt-Right Are You?: Traditionalist/Monarchist 80%

You're a bit of a romantic, and you likely reject the label of "alt-right" as too amoral. Your chief goal is a return to the old order: societies focused upon God and the family, legitimate authority, the confluence of truth and beauty, and so on. You are probably either traditional Catholic or Orthodox and belong to way too many niche Facebook groups.

You are a Libertarian-Leaning Centrist

You are a Libertarian-Leaning Centrist, and believe in a reasonable degree of small government. You believe that the government should mainly protect individuals from coercion and violence, and you usually embrace individual responsibility over more government control. You tend to support a free market and civil liberties, but on some issues you recognize the importance of government intervention. You are governed by practical solutions to each issue individually rather than political extremes.

What is your political ideology?
Your Result: Christian Democrat  80%

Christian democrats are paternal conservatives who generally support a free market economy with limited state intervention. Many also support corporatism, in which workers and employers work through collective bargaining agreements to cooperate and improve conditions for both. Socially, Christian democrats tend to be moderate conservatives, being in opposition to same-sex marriage and abortion while also opposing secularism to some degree. They tend to value the family and believe that it has its own individual autonomy in society.

https://www.lalibre.be/page/test-electoral-2019#/federal

I got 85% MR, 70% CD&V and 68% CdH (honestly I'm surprised that CD&V weren't top, I agree with them more than I do with either of those two francophone parties, MR and CdH).

At any rate now I know how I'd vote in the federal election in Belgium next month lol (one way or the other I'm francophone so it would be between MR and CdH); basically I agree more with CdH on social issues and unions but more on MR for the economy, state reforms and immigration, so I'd be an MR voter most likely.

Cool test.  I learned a few more words of French as I typed words and phrases I didn't know into the S3 translator browser extension.
A few I didn't understand the topic, and one I was surprised by:  apparently the Belgian right/center-right parties want to let people drink alcohol while they drive?   Or am I misunderstanding?

Anyway my results are:
NVA, PP - 62%
CD&V - 59%
MR - 58%
VB - 53%
Groen - 46%,   ecolo - 45%,   Open VLD - 44%
CdH, DéFI  - 43%
sp.a 40% , PTB 38%, PVDA 37%, PS - 36%

I'm surprised a bit there's such a gap between CD&V and CdH, though I knew they had some differences.   Certainly I'd vote CdH before Vlaams Belang, or any other Francophone party aside from perhaps MR or PP.
