This effectively overturns Kelo v. City of New London at the federal level. This can be done by legislation if we only affect federal decisions. It also provides more clarity on calculating certain costs.

As a committed opponent of "expropriation" in my country, I very much approve of the spirit of this and will be voting for it.

I fully support this, as it will ensure that when the Government takes private property it'll be paid for on the exact value of it, as well as make sure we don't just sell it to another private company and use it for actual public use.

I fully support this bill because it makes sure that it is clear that confiscated private property is fairly compensated for, and that the circumstances of confiscation must be for the greater good of society.

Same as the other bill, granted. 24 hours are left for objections, and if there aren't any we proceed to a final vote.

This has enough votes to pass, Senators have 24 hours to change their votes.
