Did New Jersey get polled much in 2012? The obvious states (Colorado, Florida, Iowa, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin) that were close in 2004 or critical to 2008 or 2012 were polled frequently by reputable pollsters.
