Looks like my bold prediction of a Ross victory might actually come true. I'm still cautious on this one, though.

My god, NC's senate delegation is just a constant rotation of backbench non-entities isn't it?

I'd like to believe that North Carolina is realizing the error of electing Thom "The Man with Dirty Hands" Tillis to the Senate and are trying to correct it in order to make peace with the lord by defeating his dull companion whose name they always forget.

On the subject of Tillis, I really think that he's going to be the Ron Johnson of 2020; I could see the national GOP basically giving up on his race about a year before the election even occurs, despite the fact that North Carolina is still friendly to Republican candidates, because Tillis is that much of a joke. I could see him losing by near double digits against a really strong Dem nominee.

North Carolina is not Wisconsin, but maybe it will be by 2020. I don't think there's really an equivalent to Russ Feingold in North Carolina politics, though.

Yes, let's call the race for Ross based on this one poll!

Pure Tossup at this point.

I'm not calling it for Ross; I'm just saying I personally think she's slightly favored. Still definitely a tossup, though.
