I've seen one for the extreme-right wing senate candidate Jimmy Clymer last year. Other than that, no.

I've read about Clymer. He's far from "extreme".

So he's mainstream?

If by mainstream you mean "moderate" aka gelding then no he's not. But not being a "moderate" does not make you extreme either.
