Its been a wonderful Monday.  I felt a little depressed right after work, but then I took a 90 minute cat nap on the couch and I was rejuvenated to do a small workout.  I watched a touching Biggest Loser show and just had a wonderful personal Bible Study reading Exodus 29-30 and Matthew 23.  Now, I am going to play on the Internet for the next 30 minutes before I get the bed out and be in bed by 10:00.  Tomorrow is the final day of Month 3 at Xerox!  Wednesday begins Month 4 and I will be eligible to come on permanent with Xerox beginning on Wednesday.  My boss tells me it shouldn't be too long of a wait!  God is SO very good!

Why were you depressed right after work?

I kinda cheated tonight.  As you may know today was free pancake day at IHOP's all across the nation in exchange for a small donation to the featured charity or organization.  I went to IHOP this evening and indulged in the free short stack of pancakes.  I donated $2.00 to the Primary Children's Network of Salt Lake City and only had to pay for my drink.  I did have a regular Pepsi with my meal.  I don't feel too guilty about it because I may have consumed 500-700 calories altogether.  All I had were the pancakes, syrup, and 1 glass of the Pepsi.  I didn't have any eggs or bread or bacon with it, just the pancakes.  Plus, I helped out an honorable local charity.

I'm okay with this. Carry on.

He also says they left porno magazines and lubricant all over the shed, in addition to setting up one of his (?) chairs to perform sex acts on.

It wasn't my chair they used, from what my parents were telling me.

Uh oh, your parents made the discovery?

Not sure if anyone caught this in midst of all the chaos, so I'll be an attention whore and post it once more. It really is too perfect!

Bushie, will you confront the neighbors and tell them to stop using your shed as their personal sex cave?

One thing I would prefer if I have to move back to Oklahoma and is bring things back to where they were before I moved to Utah.  I would like to keep the house, take it completely off the market, find a good job out there, still go to vo tech, and such like that and basically resume what I was doing albeit without a lot of the furniture.

What if the thugs come back and beat you up (or worse)? It doesn't sound like a very good area to live in.

Bush, you still haven't answered me. Are you at all concerned about actually having to deal with these people who keep busting up stuff at your house? Will you be armed?

Bushie, have you ever thought about simply getting a mall job (for now)?

Sure, it's not glamourous, but you'll probably get paid not much less than what you've been getting at these call centers and it will almost certainly provide you with much greater stability. It's very difficult to get fired from most of these jobs. It's also pretty easy to set up a work schedule for yourself at most of them that will allow you to make time for school/therapy/etc. Also, it's pretty easy to take time off usually too.

Glad Warden Inks, who wants to impose a water and hard tack diet, has identified V8 as the culprit of so many problems.

Well, I don't know what else he frivolously spends money on.  But I can tell you this - he ought to be ashamed of himself for spending money on crap he doesn't need when he knows that his dad could be out of a job in a matter of months.

V8 is not the only problem, but it's my fill in for all unnecessary spending.  Also included (if he pays these) would be cable TV (although I'm guessing his parents already pay for that if they have it), a cell phone data plan (I'll consider a cell phone "necessary", but a data plan is not), gasoline to make trips that could be done via walking or bike, eating out (except for rare occasions), any beverages other than tap water (or some other free beverage), seeing movies, going to plays/concerts, magazine subscriptions, newspaper subscriptions, video games - in fact, he could sell any that he has to make some money.  The list can go on and on.

Christ, man. Everyone has to be allowed to enjoy life a little bit. He's not an automaton.

He should probably start to cut back on some things but that's hardly the main issue here. He clearly has some mental issues that need to be addressed by a professional. That, and finding some steady/simple work, should be his main priorities.

I've had sex with five girls in one evening

Forgive me for being glib, but we're all guys here so we're all wondering the same thing: How in the name of God's Green Earth did you manage to accomplish this?

Seconded, this the most interesting revelation to come out of thread so far.

Definitely also wondering about that one!

This is what makes the Bushie story so intriguing.  When building all the details seem pretty boring and straightforward, but then the twist comes and we're left piecing together all those previous scenes actually meant and our mind is blown at how we missed it the first time.

It's pretty much a David Lynch movie.

Correct, gentleman. I myself am guilty of getting bored during the slower moments in the saga but I guess everything really is here for a reason.

Is it straight or gay porn in there? Perhaps some really kinky S&M stuff? Inquiring minds have to know.

Bushie, can you at least describe what was in the shed (as well as the cleanup process)? You know, just for the record!

We're just trying to hit reset on my career before I get too old.  I was going nowhere in the position I was in and likely would have been passed up for quite a few things as I am not LDS.

You're over 30 and you're referring to career decisions using 'we'... unless you're in a relationship or you're using the royal 'we'. Your parents, who clearly don't know what they're talking about, need to back off. And if you're not strong enough to tell them to back off and respect you as an adult... then you're a totally lost cause.

I don't have a strong backbone to tell my parents to back off, especially when they're genuinely trying to help me.  I will admit that sometimes they're advice baffles me.  Now that I'm home I can't move back to Utah, I have to look forward.  I will start looking with the help of the Sunday paper for a job this next week.  I will also start looking at vo tech programs and see if I can find a summer class so I can get started a couple of months earlier.  I am going to my parents church starting Sunday so I can network with fellow worshippers who can maybe point me to a good place to work.

The sunday paper? Really?

Does Oklahoma not have the internet yet (and if it doesn't how are you even posting on here)?

Bushie seriously gave out his SSN on here because he was too lazy to fill out an online application? Wow. And this is a 30 year-old man? Amazing stuff.
