Ed Harris, Woody Harrelson cast in 2008 election movie

Julianne Moore had been booked to play Sarah Palin in the HBO adaptation of Game Change. Now we know that Ed Harris has been cast as John McCain and Woody Harrelson as Steve Schmidt.

I must say that I'm skeptical about the choice of Harrelson. He doesn't resemble Schmidt much physically while his Texas accent might be distracting while he plays a Californian.

Robert Duvall would have been better for McCain, though I like Ed Harris very much.

For Palin, well, there is already a big actress... uneasy for Julianne Moore: there will be comparisons.

James Woods or Jason Isaacs for Romney ? Or both of them, depending on the Romney .

Harrelson's a solid actor, but I think Malkovich would've been better as Schmidt.
