LT: *makes a bill addressing the most controversial issue*
LT: "Let me try to send this to a vote without debate as quickly as possible."

Honestly, what the hell? You can't just try to squeeze this through like that.

Yes. Not only is this bill downright terrible, it's also terrible that you're trying to ram it through without any debate. Even if a bill is straightforward it needs to be debated or at least have the sponsor offer up some justification. This kind of behavior is typical from a partisan hack like LT. The rest of the Lincoln Assembly, I'd hope, are better than this and should not pass this garbage bill.

While I am not a member here, I have to say though I do personally support this bill, I oppose of how quickly it was attempted to end debate.

A 12-week ban seems unreasonably short though. Also the word 'endangerment' seems unclear, does that mean simply when the life of the woman is in danger or when the woman's health is also in danger. And what about fatal fetal abnormality or cases of incest? From what I've heard Lincoln's abortion laws aren't super lenient as is(link would be appreciated) so it doesn't seem necessary to have this regressive bill.

I congratulate the Speaker for understanding the importance of efficiently managing floor time. I am envious of this speed. I will also remind everyone that soon the Senate will have to vote on a bill containing a massive, reckless new tax on the stock market and we wont be allowed to debate it even for 50 seconds, so the idea that important policy changes require debate is apparently not true.

Is this sarcasm?
