Just what has he done that we wouldn't have expected any president to do?  Toss out paper towels?

To trump, paper towels were going to save the people of Puerto Rico from all their troubles.
Completely disrespectful to the huge problems these people face.
He acted like someone tossing treats to a dog.
trump .... they are human beings, not animals !

He has turned my political contempt for him into a personal disdain towards him. "Good" job, Trump.

Would that extend to those who still support him despite everything that has happened since he took office?

Even Dubya knew enough to make sure that someone else congratulated him -- and he has usually been considered the most tone-deaf President in American history.

To be honest, I know it would be wrong to do so, but my instinct is yes. However, I'm holding myself to a higher standard and asking his supporters for their opinions on the subject before I react in any way. It's difficult for me, knowing how many of my friends and family have suffered dearly thanks to him.

If interested, here is some CNN video commentary on :
President Trump defended himself after taking criticism for tossing paper towels while visiting hurricane ravaged Puerto Rico.

Apparently, we got it all wrong. trump says the towels he was throwing were just not ordinary paper towels. They were "beautiful soft towels, very good towels."
Well why didn't he say so earlier ? .... that makes all the difference in the world.

You also see Huckabee interviewing trump, and he tells the Narcissist Clown that "You were a rock star" during The Great Paper Towel Throwing Event. Is it just me, or is that the worst thing to tell someone with a big head ? Ugggg !
