Australian Capital Territory general election, 1989

Labor - 5 (±)
Liberal - 3 (-1)
No Self Government - 2 (-1)
Residents Rally - 2 (-2)
Abolish Self-Government - 1 (±)
Fair Elections - 1 (+1)
John Haslem - 1 (+1)
ACT Community - 1 (+1)
Ungrouped - 1 (+1)

With Residents Rally being cut in half I have no idea whatsoever. Probably starts off as a Labor government, though there is a good chance that they swap with the Liberals just like in real life.
In short; I don't know, though probably Labor leading

The winner would depend on which way Gerry Wood, the Independent, would go. Unfortunately NT politics isn't my strong suit so, unlike in previous years where but a cursory glance would tell you that the Independents would overwhelmingly support the CLP, as most where CLP renegades who would still support them when the chips where down.
In short, it's Gerry Wood's decision.

pretty sure that its not possible to pick a less interesting series of places to do that sort of thing for
If you are talking about me, I'm slowly going through all Australian state elections, very slowly.

As appealing as Nelson Rockefeller's face is, it might be a good idea to combine several elections into one post in future.
Good idea, I hadn't thought of that.
