With all due respect to my colleagues at the PCP,

South Park Conservative
Georgia
Populares

With all due respect to you, this may be the greatest thing to happen to the PCP in months. Tongue

I and speaking for the whole RPP would disagree very much with you.

You know, I have been accused of taking this game too seriously. I would like to think not however, I will admit that I do place much more emphasis on the responsibility brought on one via committments to people. I must ask why you did this especially after all the trust I placed in you and the responsibilities I bestowed upon you, that you would respond and accept those responsiblility only to shirk of said responsibilities a few days later, begging the question was this momentary impulse(which would then lead us to question your ability to restrain from such momentary impusles in the future), or was this a long standing process that culminated in todays actionI(which leads to questions of your honesty)?

I must ask a serious question of everyone in Atlasia and in my party. Why is such little value placed on party loyalty and why is party switching made so freely and so quickly with little consideration? I also would like to know why it is everyone I bestow some responsibility on(PiT, NiK, Teddy, and now JBrase) always happens to end up being removed from such responsibilities?

I don't want this to be a confrontation, nor do I wish their to be some lengthy exchange on the matter here in the New Register thread, however I do wish they you all shall ponder this for a good while and see what you make of it.

The RPP could have retained it's power if it started anew when it had the chance. It tried to hold on to it's name way too long and just has slowly rotted out since.

However, there are other general reasons why people switch parties outside of this case, but still.

What the hell are you talking about. I have been fighting to change our name to anything other the PCP for months. Not having an active SoFA till January delayed me considerably. Then I decided it better to not just return to the RPP but to allow us to go for a completely new name. That meant purging innactive members so we could meet a quota. There was no conscious decision to "hold onto" its name for any period. Since November I have been itching to get sh**t down and every time I get close, its snatched away from me because some stupid idiot in this JCP administration isn't doing his job for six months and has to be replaced or because DWTL in last moment of shame wrecks my plans and on and on and on.

Why is the RPP tarnished? Why is it that our fate is to be decided by people outside of this party? If the member of the RPP want to survive, then we will.

LOL, I don't think I am going to be swallowed by quicksand anytime soon.

Everyone derided the RPP at its inception (and the JCP for that matter) as a troll-filled, power-hungry, ideologically bankrupt group, but it evolved into a consolidated Atlasian right.

Just because it's what it was.
Refusing to criticize such type of party because "it could become something else" makes no sense. If the populares follow the same path as the RPP, then it will be fine with me, I'll have no reason to criticize them anymore. For the moment, it's not the case.

According to Marokai that way leads to quicksand. Be Warned. Tongue

So let me get this straight, you say the Populares have a surplus of members in the NE, so your solution is to leave? Wouldn't that make it worse? Doesn't this paint you as a counterproductive, self-serving act like the Pops have been claiming? Doesn't this make you sound like a whiny crybaby?

Help me to understand because you have me confused here. Roll Eyes

And what should I do according to you ? Please tell me, because I'm really curious to hear your opinion about all this.

My opinion is that running away like a little baby isn't going to fix anything. Stay, fight, and lose if necessary but keep fighting till you win.

Not that I'm complaining, but, how come you (and Kal) decided to come back?

Because we realized split on the left are sensless and decided to back togehter.

Well then:

*hughughughug* Tongue

I'm serious, Marokai, and you better start to treat members seriously too

Believe me, I'm happy to have you back, just surprised. Smiley

Oh come on that was fun last time, even the part with you PMing me to say that you might resign from the Senate thus allowing me to outlast you. Tongue

Given the electoral system the belief that it is absolutely essential to have everyone left of centre in the same party is the thing that's senseless... if this is a reaction to afleitch's victory, its the wrong one. He didn't win because the left was split but for other reasons.

For once, we agree.

Franzl is right Libertas.

Picking fights with everyone isn't going to advance your cause. It only encourages and increases opposition to you.

Plus its always good to be on good terms with the SoFA. Wink You never know when you might need a trashcan full of previously uncounted votes in King County. Tongue

I know you meant to say "Libertas is right Franzl."

If it makes you feel better, you can beleive that. It won't however, make it true. Tongue

Don't you remember that, as a Frenchman from Bordeaux, I don't view Champagne as a wine ? Wink

Just a bottle of Sauternes or even a "little" Saint-Julien will be fine.

Glad to be back and eager to hear the coming breaking news about our old and respectable party.

Done.

As am I, as am I. Wink

Alcon once told me something along the lines of him and others being content with the Monarchy of the Pacific or something like that. I think that pretty much somes it up. They have what they want. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for.

the JCP is the main liberal party today. And the Regional Protection Party is the conservative party. The Libertarian group is the Populares.

We also have a strong faction of moderate type Republicans like Duke, Fezzy, etc in the RPP.
