Passports are important. Although Amsterdam let me through once on an expired German passport. (Had my American passport and German ID card with me, but wasn't aware of tbe expiration myself) I wonder if the Dutch noticed or just didn't care.

They tend not to care unless you have a funny name It's unfortunate I look about 12 on my passport, still I get to renew it shortly.

Simfan34, this thread is not about 'actions', or about 'carrying things through'.  This thread is about dreams, heartbreak, despair, and hopelessness that we cannot even imagine.  And a man who keeps going regardless.  It is the most heroic thread on the forum.
