I fail to see how much the conservatives could have gained by appealing to some of the leave voters in the labour heartlands of the north. The gap to makeup was far too large and given that so many old UKIP voters there were staunch labour supporters anyway, it seems like a lost cause....

How many seats are the SNP on track of losing?

Around 20 or so to various Lib/Con/Lab factions

According to BBC their exit poll is currently only off by 2 - overestimating LAB by 1 and underestimating CON by 1 from current results.

Just saw that. It appears the exit poll is going to be very close if the first 50 results or so are in line with the upcoming results.

Which of course just builds the drama for the coming days.

Big Underperformers Tonight:

1. Conservatives
1.1 SNP

SNP didnt really underperform. Sturgeon has run into difficulties rallying support for another referendum and the party was expected to lose seats.

In what has to be one of the stranger turns of fortunes...it appears the Conservatives might squeak by thanks to their support in Scotland in order to compensate for their losses in England.

After years of being a proud left-wing bastion, Scotland looks to have not only decimated the Labour party to snooker any chances for a Labour majority but is now handing the Tories theirs.  SAKE.

A very weird world we live in.....

DUP picks up Antrim South from UUP. Zero change in Unionist/Nationalist balance.

DUP are more eurosceptic than the UUP.

Northern Ireland is going to dick this whole thing up for Labour with the Sinn Fein members not showing up and the DUP/UUP potentially working with the Tories.

80 away currently from a Lab/SNP/LD coalition government. Could possibly make it if others are willing to go in as well.

Lib Dems said they're not willing to go into coalition with anyone and given how that backfired in 2010, I think there is reason to believe them.

The Conservative surge in Scotland is incredible.
