I am extremely pleased to announce that I am a candidate for the Mideast Senate seat.

This is great news. I am more than extremely happy that you are candidate to keep on doing good work, with an open mind, in the Atlasia Senate.

I am running for reelection for the Mideast Assembly.

And I'm happy to see True Conservative, our Speaker Sweedish Cheese and Giovanni running also. More will come, no doubt, especially our Assemblyman Badger.

Yes, this election will be a very interesting one !
I'll wait a bit before expressing my preferences, though I must say our current Assemblymen are fine ones and that my fellow Progressive Conservative has already received my support.
But, as there will be more than 5 candidates and as the current 6 are all serious candidates, a choice will have to be made !

Actually that would be far less interesting.

Last time: 3 seats, 3.5 candidates.
This time: 5 seats, already 7 candidates.
Not bad I think, even if these numbers aren't all the story, of course.

Yep, this is the end now, because I've really lost any interest in the game. I will be a simple citizen who will intervene from time to time and who will vote.
I wanted to try to up the AFL-CIO but it will never work, as the biggest right in Atlasia is the weird, uninteresting and US-parochial libertarian one.

And I already spend too much time on survivors... RL must remain more important, you know ?

As a side note, in this session of the Mideast Assembly, I've been utterly inactive and so it would have been unfair anyway to seek my reelection (though I know many very "bright" and very famous Atlasians have never done anything for years and are elected with huge majorities... ).
