Indiana probably would have been one of his better states too. Sad

Gingrich's campaign only looks like a disaster until you take a look at Rick's. Sheesh.

Interestingly, we will now see Santorum not in Indiana, Gingrich not in the Missouri primary, and, neither in Virginia. Paul, Santorum and Gingrich will all have a shot at Romney.

Tongue

A Republican I know very well was rushing around last weekend, trying to get signatures. Look like she failed.

Why are signatures even necessary to be on the ballot? Doesn't that favor candidates who have popular support BEFORE the filing deadline? It disadvantages those who are popular at the time of the election.

Santorum initially fell 24 signatures short. 49 possibly legitimate signatures were found.

Santorum is on the Indiana SoS's list of candidates who filed, but it's not clear yet if his name will be on the ballot.  Also on the list, and potentially going to be on the ballot: Patricia Inez Sandifer.  Who is that?

How else could they keep frivolous candidates from inflating the length of the ballot?
