Welcome the 39th Canadian Federal Election, a replay of 2006.

The events that have happened in real life during the 38th Parliament are still here in this timeline, this includes the Gomery Commission and other affairs.

Absolutely Absurd - Jas

In order to get this started, I request you do the following.

Number of candidates: Max. 308, Min. 10
Candidate Groupings: (Number of candidates per province, strongest province etc.)
Main point of platforms: Name only divergences from the real party's platform

That's up to your party- the more candidates you have, the higher your chance of having more votes.

You might want to take a look at this page and its great results map from 06: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Results_of_the_Canadian_federal_election%2C_2006

I expect a bit of common sense from everybody, I don't expect minor parties like FPNP or AAEVP to run 308.

That's great, Gabu, could serve as a model for others.

I would personally recommend that the Liberals, Conservatives, NDP, and Green run a full slate, and the Bloc runs 75 candidates in every QC riding.

CultureKing- Sure why not? Jump right in!

Liberal - Al
Conservative - bullmoose88
NDP - EarlAW
Bloc Quebecois - Bacon King
Green - Colin Wixted
Rhino - SoFA Gabu
First Peoples National - Lewis
Animal Alliance Environment Voters - ilikeverin
Absolutely Absurd - Jas
Christian Heritage - Cultureking

Historically strongest province, which would be Alberta.

However, that's a little detail and does not matter to me much.
