AL Supreme Court orders probate judges not to license same sex marriages

Just in case there was any misconception about Alabama and the obstacles to progress coming solely in the form of a bunch of cigar-smoking, old fat white plantation owners:

What are those percentages of?  The counties?  It seems like a bit of a misleading statistic.  It's pretty evident that Obama voters are, by and large, not the architects of an orchestrated plot to dismantle marriage equality in this state.

Interesting to note the absence of Macon county from either list.  I would be surprised if it were not recognizing same-sex marriages.

Marriage will lose almost all its meaning. It will be seen as little more than a friendship. This is probably already the case in Massachusetts.

Even if the court had done nothing the racial restrictions would have eventually have been abolished. It would have been better to do that than traumatize both races.

Separate but equal has been vilified over the years but it is a lot more nuanced than its critics let on.

The traditional marriage they espouse has a definition of marriage based on property.  Clearly men can only be owners and women can only be the owned.

Same-sex marriage is as bad as race mixing and women's rights!!!
