Well, it's too early to know whether it's a success or not - we'll have to wait and see whether this actually brings about real change. That said it's rather astounding how many governments are being toppled because of this.

The incumbent government was led by the hard-line, which had until now won Abdullah's ear. It seems to have changed with the hiring of a new PM, who seems to be a moderate reformist. A small win for protesters.
