No, your grammar is still wrong. The original post said:

Issues is a plural noun, so instead of what you said, it would be "there are issues".  A peice of candy is something, so you would say, "There is a peice of candy." However, three pieces of candy are not some thing, they are multiple things, so you would say, "There are three peices of candy."

And that is why you should never ever try to correct people's grammar on the Internet.

(Also, "Might want to follow your own advice" isn't a complete sentence, as there isn't a subject before the verb, but that is why you never ever ever try to correct people's grammar on the Internet.)
