With the war in Vietnam raging and beginning to look like a quagmire, unrest in America's urban centers due to riots for both peace and civil rights, inflation rising, and what seems is an America that is tearing itself a part, you, a voter in the Democratic primaries (or at the Democratic National Convention) must decide who you choose to lead this country for four more years. You have five days to decide.

Ah sorry, forgot him. I switched immediately from the Dem primary results to the convention tally and forgot to read the entire thing (as I assume the top guys in the primary would be the same on the convention tally). He's been edited in at the bottom.

Also, please include a VP preference (doesn't have to be someone on the above list). Smiley

Bryant (assuming it's multi-stage, McCarthy later). Are we assuming RFK is dead or not?

Given it's a free-for-all, we'll go with alive. (And yes, I realize that people like George McGovern wouldn't be voted for at the convention, but this is about giving the voters every option, not an alternate history masterpiece)

Can't believe I forgot to lock this. The poll's over. The results were and RFK win. RFK won a >60% land-slide against George Wallace and Nelson Rockefeller.
