Really I just want more strictness in banning people who are utter assholes and bigots, and more strict patrolling of posts that are bigoted against people.  (I.E:  The Trans threads that sometimes boil down to calling trans people mentally ill)

I'm not sure if getting rid of Muon is the best way to reach that conclusion, but I know something has to change.

People can unskew this poll if they like, but it should be pretty clear that Collins is not going to cruise to re-election like she used to just because she seems "moderate" or because she's an "entrenched incumbent." Even if this poll is favorable to Democrats, it shows a pretty large drop in her approval from their previous poll, and the fact that even some popular Republican incumbents in 2018 in federal races either lost or had much closer calls than before (Katko) should be a warning sign for Collins. If Trump comes as close to winning Maine as he did in 2016, then yes, Collins should be fine, but if he does noticeably worse, she could definitely be in trouble. Ask Mark Pryor, Kelly Ayotte, Claire McCaskill, or Bill Nelson how much their previous margins of victory helped them in their most recent race.

I'd guess that Collins wins by low-mid single digits for now, so Lean R, but those who aren't even considering Collins vulnerable are definitely letting their bias get in the away of being objective.

Unfortunate, we need to cherish and support the few remaining moderates.

Let me know when you find one.

Susan Colins.

Your search - "Susan Colins is a moderate tho" - did not match any results.

"Winning" against Trump and his party by throwing away what makes us better than them is no win at all.

No. Racist posts are not particularly common here, at least not the variety that is directed towards non-whites.
Racism is bad, but why is it treated with such stigma while other equally abhorrent and malicious  ideologies, such as socialism and intersectionality, are ignored?
Matthew should not have been banned, and the fact that he was so quickly defenestrated from this ivory tower despite no discernible offense is deeply troubling.

Racism is more malicious than socialism and intersectionality due to it's advocacy being an instrument more likely to result in the death of someone tonight if openly advocated.  I would agree that Fascist ideologies are far more likely to promulgate racist ideologies than Communist ideologies (although Communist ideologies have, when fully played out, resulted in massive deaths of political enemies).

I will say that full-blown Communism is as evil as Nazism, and the death tolls of Stalin and Mao are nothing to minimize, but I will say that at the present moment, the alt-right poses a more immediate danger to the well-being of people, with the possible exception of radical Jihadist Islam.

Matthew27 earned his ban.  He posted an unforced confession of posting 10,000 times on Stormfront.  That kind of speaks for itself.

They execute hundreds of innocents, and  we execute millions. We truly don't have the moral high ground on this issue.

Oh stop that nonsense. How can you claim to be fighting radical Islamism when you're allied to the country that has the most radically Islamist government in the world?

I can't imagine being nostalgic for the 90s, back then everyone smoked in restaurants and offices and such. Ugh the whole world must have smelled like garbage.

Pelosi is absolutely right that AOC is in the minority & can't dictate how the House works, & for the most part, the House Dems have passed a lot of good, left-wing legislation. AOC initiated this battle by promising to oust moderate Dems, & Pelosi (as Speaker) is partially responsible for protecting her party from attacks, including those from within it. As the House Leader, she represents what most Dems want, & the vast majority aren't on AOC's side.

I do factor this in.  Do you factor in the significantly larger number of liberal users of USGD that are far more likely to turn a blind eye at PM2's posts while jumping on Sanchez?

Liberals absolutely do not turn a blind eye to PM2's posts. (Although he has definitely toned it down a bit) In fact, they're generally far more tolerant of Sanchez.

This meme that 2016 was simply a continuation of previous trends needs to stop, there were entire areas of the country that were trending democrat that trended hard Republican in 2016, there were counties in Appalachian Ohio that swung towards Obama from 2008-2012 which meant they trended democratic in a big way that swung 20-30 points towards Trump. There were counties in Wisconsin that had been trending democrat for decades that swung hard towards Trump.

Wait would Atlas be calling a Clinton +13 district where Trump got a lower % than Romney, but voted for the Republican governor candidate by 9% as the state became 24% less Republican and elected a Republican congressperson on their coattails Lean R?

Just asking.
Huh?

The suburbs are trending D. Get over it. Tilt R/Toss-Up

Minneapolis actually houses the best collection of Russian Art in the US.  So, go figure.
I've made a thread calling for the closure of that museum actually.

It's a shame to see the left putting so much pressure on a poor old woman with cancer to keep working.

What a stupid comment.  Ginsburg is highly motivated to keep the seat by her own personal convictions.

A few are getting increasingly delusional. The silent majority still stands with Trump, but yes, there has been some erosion. My gut says Trump still wins.
Trump’s base is many things but it isn’t the majority and it sure as hell isn’t silent

The narrative that Gabbard actually destroyed Harris's campaign has got to be one of the most stupid one in a primary campaign full of stupid narratives.

On-line donations are horrible for Biden. I guess he has that money saved from Ukraine, Hollywood who was going for Harris and Unions who take money out of paychecks

Because it's not actually free, the MTA is always late, and bus drivers all have attitudes like they're King Croesus

If you've ever had to provide your own vehicle, you'd quickly realize that isn't free either.

And if anyone needs more evidence of Atlas's fetish for poor racist Appalachian white people, check out the difference in the poll results/thread replies between this thread and the "Opinion of The Villages, FL" thread, lol. I rest my case!

Consider that people are voting 'FF' in this poll not because they particularly want to live in Owsley County, but because they are tired of your incessant and incredibly uninteresting bit.
