Seeing as I have an extremly low knowledge of everything about him, I really don't know, except that he is very beloved by both Jerry Falwell and Al Sharpton, so I figure the battle for him would be bloody. It's likely better not to tarnish his reputation in partisan politics. If he did join a party, it would have absolutly no effect on me, although if he joined the Democrats I'd be freaked out to see Falwell at a Democratic rally.
