Looks good, but how exactly did Democrats pick up seats in Tennessee and South Carolina while losing Oregon? Jeff Merkley had a +15 approval rating in the last poll. Ad John Kitzhaber is pretty popular too.

Some odd placing (Particularly on the Republican side: Romeny on top, not to mention in the big way it looks? Palin still relevant? Sandoval ahead of Martinez?), but I'd like to see where it goes, and its your timeline, so I shouldn't be too harsh.

I believe you are making the debates too much of a big factor. I mean, they can be, but I don't think every debate earthquakes the poll numbers. Other than that I like the way this thing is moving (plus I always like a good Kaine early drop out), and I hope Tim McGraw has some staying power and makes an entertaining nominee.

But of course, "Republicans fall in line, and Democrats fall in love." so maybe it does make sense for the D polls to be more shaky.  Tongue

Oh so very true. We're the political equivalents of hopeless romantics

Haha, it's one of my favourite sayings about the two parties.  Along with: "When you give Republicans bad news they want to kill you; when you give Democrats bad news they want to kill themselves."

Again, completely true, though I don't really understand it as much as the other quote. Maybe it's out of a sense of denial verses a sense of failure, or the Republican not believing that the news is happening verses the Democrat not believing the news might get better over time. All I know is that we saw a LOT of both last year Tongue

Why is PPP saying Santorum should drop out when he won Iowa and South Carolina, and possibly more? Klobuchar, maybe, since she was expecting to do well in states that she isn't actually doing well in.

Interesting concept, though tbh, I think in RL, Rice would completely destroy McGraw to a point most would probably feel sorry for him.

President Tim "cking" McGraw!!! There's probably a bigger party in the streets than when Obama won. Anyway, how are Congressional and Gubernatorial races?
