What % of the population can be gay until reproduction becomes a threat?

Very simple if we don't breed we die as a species. Family lines have died out because of illness, early death, choice to not breed but our very existance is seriously under threat with society accepting and promoting homosexuality ahead of hetrosexuality.

In workplaces, gay people are viewed favourably by managements as they have no outside pressures and don't demand holiday/time off/sick pay with hetrosexuals having children.

Sales, marketing companies continue to promote products and services to a gay audience as they have large disposable incomes as they have very little outgoings compared to familes.

If your young be gay as you will have tons of money.

Our society is rapidly changing, homosexuality is increasing dramatically with men and childbirth is decreasing in developed countires. Only minorities due to large immigrations are distorting the figures.

If we continue at the same rate - stats from 2002-2012, by 2035 more than 50% of the male popualtion in america will be gay.

Well, I am sure if it got into the double digits, but I don't think people are choosing to become gay because it is cool. That's like saying that there are millions of  people whp want to be black or white so much that millions of people will "go Jacko". Its one thing to adapt aspects of another gender or another race's culture, its another thing to actually join another gender or race.

It really depends on how many children the breeders are willing to have and raise.  If it is 3 children per couple then you could still have population equilibrium with one-third of the population being non-breeders.  On the other hand if is 1 child per couple, you have a problem no matter what proportion don't breed.

Even if the population became 100% homosexual in a few decades (impossible)... many same-sex couples still have kids (not even including kids from previous relationships with the opposite sex, or adoptions).

Lesbian couples use sperm donors. Gay couples use surrogate mothers.



And since scientists have now found a way for a female mouse to impregnate another female mouse (using a pill so the egg cells behave like sperm cells), and scientists have found a way to create either sperm cells or egg cells out of human bone marrow stem cells (so you could basically get an egg cell from a man), and expected adances to eventually create an artificial womb... my guess is that male-male couples and female-female couples will be able to have their own biological children in a few decades (will likely be expensive at first, but get cheaper with time).

Is there any indication that the planet is running out of people?!  Have the lines of PhDs, computer scientists, doctors, artists, millionaires begging to become American citizens suddenly disappeared?!

How with all the pressing problems the US has did this become your top concern?  As a heterosexual male who hopes to reproduce one day a shrinking pool of competition would be nice.  Anyway in Western low birth countries governments invariably start paying people to start having children.  I personally think the only people who should have children are the ones that really want them.  This business of forcing people to be heterosexual and forcing rape victims and unwed mothers to have babies they don't even want is insane.  That's how you end up with the average American family...

It depends on what percentage of the non gay population is LDS.

In other news, a fair percentage of gays breed, or have bred. And if gays refers to males, it is rather more important as to what females are up to, than males in this department.

Finally, in my opinion, the planet has too many people. We need more gays, not less!
