Just one thing. Joe Kennedy's political career as a possible candidate himself died in 1940, after his infamous interview. No way he'd ever be on the national ticket.

There's one more problem. When Biden was elected in 1972, he was just short of 30, which is minimum age for a Senator to serve. In 1976, he would be 34 in November.

35 is a constitutional minimum for both President and Vice President.

Since both Jackson and Hart run for President and election goes to House, one of them could be selected President, but neither could be selected Vice President. Senate is limited to choose between two top candidates, in this case Biden and Wilson.
