Rumour is that Teddy is considering Mechaman for his VP on the ticket.

As do I. A Teddy/Mechaman ticket would get a very high preference from me. I still have to see who else runs, though.

INTERVIEW WITH TEDDY!

TPTTAA:
You lost the election

INTERVIEWEE:
yea

TPTTAA:
What the hell were you doing, you didn't even campaign

INTERVIEWEE:
uh. Playing games

TPTTAA:
WHAT!?

INTERVIEWEE:
I got addicted to a (few) game(s). I've always been weak to that, I get strongly addicted to something and can't stop. When I found TV tropes I even cut my sleep short just to read everything I could. I didn't even cook any food to eat, and took taxis to and from work so I had more time to read TV tropes

TPTTAA:
Dude... you have problems.

INTERVIEWEE:
Yes, I have Autism. I may have OCD too. And ADHD

TPTTAA:
Uh, sounds like OCD to me. But, how can you have both ADHD and OCD; isn't one lack of focus and the other too much focus?

INTERVIEWEE:
I'm special

TPTTAA:
I think we can all agree with that. But wtf dude, you ignored the election for a game?

INTERVIEWEE:
Uh yea.

TPTTAA:
That's disgusting. Are you ashamed?

INTERVIEWEE:
yea

TPTTAA:
Are you embarrassed?

INTERVIEWEE:
yea

TPTTAA:
Is your ego bruised?

INTERVIEWEE:
yea

TPTTAA:
GOOD. You deserve it. Now moving on; how can you assure us that the same thing wont happen if you are SoFE?

INTERVIEWEE:
Simple. Election numbers are something I am addicted TO. I've even taken a day off work for a game election.

TPTTAA:
Oh? Tell us about that.

INTERVIEWEE:
Well I'd just come back into the game after a ragequit, and happened to plop into a party in the middle of a leadership election. I managed to win cause I talked everyone else into not running. Then I made a mistake and they all coup'ed me. I said I'd stand aside, and did. Then a few weeks later we had an election and everyone was like OMG TEDDY UR D BEST OMG WE NED UZ so I was like OMG OKAYFINE so I took the day off work.

TPTTAA:
Then what happen

INTERVIEWEE:
Uh

TPTTAA:
Well?

INTERVIEWEE:
I got drunk and passed out.

TPTTAA:
**** you are useless

INTERVIEWEE:
When I woke up tho, I managed to spearhead us though the best campaign the party had EVER had in game HISTORY.

TPTTAA:
Ah so you are skilled

INTERVIEWEE:
Indeed

TPTTAA:
But how, you are useless? You are a nutcase!

INTERVIEWEE:
Ah, but the "nutcase" part of me; Autism; is what gives me by innate ability to understand and as odd as it sounds, "feel" the numbers of an election.

TPTTAA:
...You can "feel" numbers?

INTERVIEWEE:
Distribution of numbers across a geographic-popular area, yes

TPTTAA:
wtf

INTERVIEWEE:
Don't ask me to explain it. All I know is I do

TPTTAA:
Weirdo

INTERVIEWEE:
Thanks! Smiley

Being able to "feel" numbers is a sign of synesthesia, not a reflection of autism, Teddy.

INTERVIEWING MAROKAI AND THEN LEAVING A FEW EXTRA TAGS SO I CAN MAKE FUTURE INTERVIEWS EASILY

TPTTAA:
Today we have Marokai, he was both former SoIA and SoEA before the department was split.

Marokai. You are defective. I know this because you defected to the RPP. Can you explain why you left the JCP and joined the RPP

INTERVIEWEE:
Well I didn't immediately go from the JCP to the RPP afterall. I tried to form the UDL, which unfortunately fell apart. I don't really like the way the JCP operates. It's a party without a soul. What do they stand for? They vote for their candidates without question, and though I realize a healthy dose of partisanship is healthy for the game as a whole, sometimes a little bit of meritocracy is better.

They very nearly act the way the Populares used to in regard to their candidates. Defending them in groups, going silent when their candidates do stupid stuff, and then supporting them in lockstep. I don't particularly care for that in that extreme.

More than that I just don't like the state of affairs party wise, and the RPP isn't perfect in this regard either. A couple years ago or more forming new parties was regular business. Now all the parties are so entrenched that they never fade away. Steering the RPP in any way I can toward reform (and reform of the regional mindset that I support) is positive, even if not my ideal.

TPTTAA:
That's wonderful and all but what the hell is a "Marokai" and why is it blue?

INTERVIEWEE:
When thinking of a new name I just wanted to randomly make up something that sounded cool. "Marokai" was something I made up out of nowhere and "Blue" is the color of the Democratic Party in American politics. (Though, unfortunately not on this website.)

TPTTAA:
Speaking of this "website", when did you first join Atlasia, and what were among the first things you did?

INTERVIEWEE:
I joined Atlasia in December 2008, on the invitation of Xahar, and to join his party. I immediately moved to the Pacific and ran and lost a race for Lt. Governor. Over the next few months I learned a lot more about the game and then merged the SDP with the JCP in April 2009.

TPTTAA:
XAHAR! my god.

Despite that, I will forgive you.

Now, you want to be GM. But are you qualified? Put in another way: do you have any interesting and fun crises worked out for fun?

INTERVIEWEE:
Sure, I like to think I'm qualified. The GM requires common sense and dedication more often than hard qualifications, to be honest with you.

I hope to rise the position back to it's prominence when Purple State was GM. PS was certainly one of the best Atlasians of all time without a doubt, and it was his work that revived the GM position after he battled against Bgwah to make it importance once again in early/mid 2009.

I'm not a big fan of crazy catastrophes, but I'll try to keep things interesting. I liked Purple State's tendency to take an occasional Associated Press story and adapt it to Atlasia, so I'll start to do that, and I'll try to make a lot of updates and respond to the actions of regional legislatures and the Senate. I'm not a huge fan of more wonky things that few people care about like the budget in the Mideast, but hey, it's work, and if I'm called on, I'll do my best.

TPTTAA:
Lastly, what the hell happened to you dude? You and Teddy used to argue all the time, but then, now you don't, and because of that Teddy has nobody to hate any more in this game... how could you do this to him!?

INTERVIEWEE:
Being a reformer makes you more stale, I guess. You could always hate on Napoleon, instead. Tongue

TPTTAA:
Thank you for your time

INTERVIEWEE:
Interview me anytime you like, Teddy.

TPTTAA:
Teddy? We are TPTTAA!!!

Always on the cutting edge of news, TPTTAA has asked questions of the two Senators opposing the appointment of Marokai as the new GM. We commit to posting the responses unedited.

TPTTAA wonders about the following:
Why they changed their votes?
What is the "question from last night" one of the Senators is referring to?
Has Marokai done anything to result in this, and if so, what was it that was done?
