I'm impressed that the UAW managed to get a vote going in the first place. And that margin is nothing to sneeze at either. Would we have liked to see the vote pass? Of course, but coming this close is a win in itself. I'd be very surprised if this is the last and only vote at that factory.

Zero chance of that.

That Trump+12 poll is one of the biggest outliers of the year so far.

Well, he can defend the 90% number by claiming that the rest of Haley primary voters were not Republican and even then, the math does not add up.  And frankly in a tight race, even 10% of primary voters is yooge!

I would view that comment more as a signal and as public negotiations with Haley.  He wants to lower her price for coming to him (not sure whether just for endorsement or as a VP).  I doubt that flea market bargaining strategy will work but we shall see.

Oh geez, how many times have we heard this over the last nine years?

“Don’t worry, folks — I know Trump’s statement seems like a complete lie if you just go by the facts, but if you let me dissect it for the next 15 minutes, you’ll see it actually makes a lot of sense and is a brilliant political 3D chess move!”

Not buying it!

Huh?  Try reading my post again - while I mention how Trump would try and defend this statement, I clearly indicate his math does not add up.  And my personal opinion remains that this is more for Haley's ears (which I describe as flea market bargaining, not a brilliant chess move)!

I know. I was extrapolating on your statement Smiley

As much as I usually respect Australia, this is disgusting.

If they want to watch pro-Russian propaganda they should have that right. I wouldn't banned Fox News for its conservative slant or CNN/MSNBC for their centrist/liberal shtick if such legislation came to the States.

I'm sure it's still available online if you know where to look. But yes, this is a good decision by the EU.

To Republicans, black lives DON’T matter.

But did you know that Democrats were the party of segregationists 60 years ago?

This bass comes from the Jimi Hendrix-Led Zeppelin era of 1969.

We had the opportunity to buy this stunning condition-super rare bass earlier in the year and thought it was a great long term investment. Probably the rarest and most desired colour of 1960's Fender Instruments, Lake Placid Blue was used sparingly.

1969 Fender Jazz Lake Placid Blue

(Right Click, Open Image in New Tab for Larger Version)

The bass features a maple neck, adorned with a bound rosewood fingerboard and iridescent mother-of-pearl block inlays,

Arrived with original paperwork, manuals, and a cool hippy strap.

Generally, a custom colour Fender instruments from the 1960's will fetch between 50-100% than its sunburst equivalent.

Utterly pointless. Convenient though.

mentality on this forum: if Biden leads by 1 its a legit poll, If Trump leads by 1 or 2, its bogus and the sample is questionable.

Given the partisan nature of this poll-or at least how they've tracked Trump-yes, it should be considered in a curve. And many of us are skeptical that Trump could win the popular vote or do as well as he is in certain polls.
