First of all it's extremely unlikely that it would come down to those two.

Second, who would get the nomination if it did?

No, I don't think that this would be good, but the choices so far don't look so great either

Would she pick Kaine as her running mate?

If it came down to Warren v Clinton it might be a similar kind of scenario although not all Sanders supporters would be as enthusiastic about Warren.

Most of us would not, although given that we are so closely divided between progressives and suburban moderates, we will likely see a reprise of those primaries with different candidates. 
Yes and if it comes down to two candidates, it's hard to say which side would win, since it depends on who those two are, but I would slightly lean toward the progressive.
