Everyone's challenging everything that moves now.  Most of these challenges will probably be cleared up before review because I suspect most are rather frivolous.  I don't think there's really any obvious pattern, although, you know, my work on the numbers grows...

From SOS (which is ahead of Star-Tribune this time):

81.40% Precincts, 74.19% Votes

Coleman -1051 (909114), Franken -1008 (890899).  (Coleman - 43 = 172 votes ahead)

Challenges: Coleman 1400, Franken 1401

I only see 1,535 Coleman to 1,501 Franken.
Looks like they made a 90 vote error. When I last checked the Star Trib had the Coleman challenges at 1625. I  now feel less sanguine about Franken's chances.

Eh I don't really get why Coleman is supposed to be so evil, and thus don't care if he wins. Really couldn't care if Franken doesn't become a senator. Seriously he doesn't seem like a senator. I could buy him as a representative, I could also see him as governor, but not senator.

I have to agree.

I don't think Coleman is bad - I just think he's kinda useless.

Franken doesnt strike me as the kind to happily work as 1 of 100 cogs...
