I can't say.  Aside from my wife and me, everyone in my family freaked out as soon as it was clear Obama had won the nomination.  Not that they'd vote Democrat anyway. 

As one relation put it, "Those people are only good for basketball and taking up jail space."

Ronnie went to Eureka college, and then was a B actor. He was  no "uppity" elitest.   He was as down to earth as the corn fields from which he sprang, in the adjacent zip codes to beautiful downtown Dixon, Illinois. I have been to Dixon. You drive under the Dixon arch as you drive down the road adjacent to Fox River or whatever it is, to its junction with the Father of Waters. Ronnie then moved to the big city of Davenport, where my grandparents lived, and my mother raised, but that is another story. Ronnie did call my grandmother to wish her a happy 95th birthday however.
