Has that ever worked?

Yes. I also once was dealing with a chronic backache that went away when I went to church, and didn't come back after praying with one of the prayer team people at the end.

Ibuprofen works fine for a headache. Anything OTC is completely worthless for any other kind of pain.

It helped somewhat with my backaches I mentioned (about as effective as the massages I tried as well, though I suppose an actual professional, therapeutic massage might've been more effective than the rubs you get at the places I was going to) before I tried the faith healing thing.
