I just noticed something here, that I wouldn't have had BK not failed to notice it.

I never gave 24 hours to change votes, this is getting to be a habit of mine, and especially when the lone nay vote is shua. Tongue Too many damn amendment votes, confirmation hearings and other matters that pass as soon as 6 vote on them. You forget the basics on regular bills.

hmm interesting situation. It's been four days since I ended the vote and since no one complained I'll just consider it to have passed but on July 18th, 2011 instead of July 17th, 2011. It's not like many took much interest in this bill while it was up for debate. If someone objects to this arrangement, then I we just revert to normal procedure which would be the vote ending as is after seven days from it's commencement which would be 7:35 am on July 20th, 2011.

Why the hell you vote nay, shua? Tongue See what ya did. Wink

Now why couldn't you have raised concerns in this thread BK? Tongue

Only it's uses prior to July 20th, after seven days there is no 24 hours for changes anyway. The 24 hour thing is simply to end the vote early.

Good thing BK went ahead with that retro-active authorization of that other procedure on the Flood mitigation bill. Wink Otherwise I might have cause to worry here.
