I had one for quite a long time.  It offended people and, when I lived with my parents, they made me take it off, although I don't see why it's so offensive.

He didn't have a theory of evolution, he just classified animals according to how closely related they seemed to be, and included man among the monkeys.

True; although it's also true that Darwin gets more than his fair share of credit for Evolution. He wasn't even the first person to write the theory down...
