Palin seems like another matter. It might not be smarts, it might be the lack of education. But she has done things that are very strange.

Bush is a VERY intelligent man and was a smart president, though he didn't show it all the time. Palin would have been an efficient vice president had McCain been elected. Palin just doesn't have much experience and that's what hurt her and the McCain team. Her intelligence is high, her experience is nearly nill. It doesn't take much to be the governor of Alaska, and now that she resigned, she will have even less experience going into 2012 should she decide to run.
