Once the current crop of baby boomers begins to die off in large numbers and once Gen Y + Milennials begin "subsidizing" the Baby Bust, Gen-X.

Immigration has changed the demographic structure in this country.  Generation X is not much smaller than the Baby Boom generation anymore..

Things will balance out and remain relatively stable with a stable worker:retiree ratio after about 2025.
