More seriously, I love the calendar and candidate list. As a reward for your hard work, I will probably get the Presidential DoFA Reform Committee going soon to keep you busy. ;) Great work though. Title: Re: Department of Federal Elections Post by: Associate Justice PiT on July 13, 2010, 03:33:45 AM I must agree with the President -- the calendar & candidate list are both immensely helpful. I rushed this up >.< so its not the prettiest thing in the world; but it is functional and there. Title: Re: Department of Federal Elections Post by: Meeker on August 18, 2010, 06:02:18 PM I delegate all the duties of the upcoming elections to Teddy. I've been busy working on a Congressional campaign that had our primary last night and now I need to pack to go back to school. Starting Saturday I'll be working at a summer camp and probably won't have Internet access for a week.
The timing of this election has been really unfortunate for me but I hope people know that, as was shown in the first few days of my time in office, I am committed to doing this job if I'm physically able to do it - something which I'm quite frankly not able to do right now. Title: Re: Department of Federal Elections Post by: Teddy (IDS Legislator) on August 18, 2010, 06:43:06 PM I will not let you down!

I apologize for any confusion. Title: Re: Department of Federal Elections Post by: Teddy (IDS Legislator) on August 22, 2010, 05:45:35 AM Counting will officially begin after midnight (17 hours from now or so) however I expect to have an official "primary vote total" up before that.
As with the last time I counted midterms, I will be doing the rough election data (IE the counts themselves) on a side forum - In this case, a hidden forum of a forum I administer. I've given access to view this hidden forum to the President, as well as certain others. If you wish to also gain access, please contact me via PM. Any candidate, Senator, or Cabinet member asking will receive; others will be judged by another standard based on how many others have requested access. While it implies this, it is not 100% clear, to me anyway, of what to do in this sort of situation. Tradition has been that the ballot ends at NOTA and therefore, this is how I will read this, but there may be a case to be made if there were to be a tie and the candidate(s) ranked below NOTA would win the tiebreaker with the above rank, but would lose it without. 1) Duke 2) AndrewCT 3) A-BOB 4) Bacon I feel the intent is clear that in the #4 slot the voter intended to vote for Bacon King, and not a strip of Bacon. This is how I've counted it. Title: Re: Department of Federal Elections Post by: Teddy (IDS Legislator) on August 22, 2010, 10:58:28 PM https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=122965.0
