Title: Total votes?
Post by: dougrhess on November 03, 2004, 09:15:37 AM
George W. Bush (REP)*   58,286,937   51%   269
John F. Kerry (DEM)   54,766,544   48%   238

That's the current data on NBC (what a boring station that was last night!).  It adds up to about 113 million, or 7  million more than in 2000.

How many more votes, just the total I don't think it's going to change any states, will be coming in?

I guess there are four categories:
1. Provisional
2. Military/Overseas
3. Domestic Absentee
4. Precincts not yet reporting

Oh, and Lousiana, which is really the FL of this year, but not in a way that matters. Sounds like a disaster down there.
