A good choice, given the fact that Ohio is just not close enough for the provisionals to matter.

Now, all of the Republicans claiming that Dems would try to steal this election and what not, at least give Kerry a little props for conceding. Is that too much for us to ask?

It's the sensible thing to do. Way to go, senator.

I definitely commend Sen. Kerry for conceding rather than pursuing the path of unleashing the Democratic Party's legal pitbulls and racial arsonists to contest the election and divide the country.  And you know there were plenty of people advising him to do just that.

Unlike some, I thought it was perfectly appropriate for Sen. Kerry to wait until the votes in Ohio were counted to the point where it was definite that there was no way for him to win.  With all these new voting procedures, including provisional voting and a greater use of absentee ballots, it makes sense to take a little more time to make sure that all bases are covered, rather than face a 2000-type debacle later.

My compliments to Senator Kerry.

Well, he has more class than Al Gore.  He actually did give a really good concession speech today.

I'm not glad, kinda sad because in the name of terror we have our rights stripped away by the Patriot Act and this also: http://www.villagevoice.com/issues/0444/hentoff.php

Might as well start calling Bush 'Der Führer Die Christliche Moral Vereiningen Staaten'.

Freedom is dead.
