Davis has always been scum, so this is hardly surprising.

Does Bentley look as if he is going to have any coat-tails at the state legislative level by bringing Republicans to power in both houses?

Well the Republicans need only three seats in the Senate, they need eight in the House which is easier said than done as the House looks like a semi-gerrymander to maximize the influence of heavily black counties from a quick glance.

The Senate is probably going to flip, because there are several Democratic retirements in vulnerable seats. It's harder to say with the House, but I wouldn't be surprised. Especially since if the margin comes within a seat or two, there will almost assuredly be some DINOs jumping ship.
