The "Information Era presidents" category is probably the worst one. All three were/are absolutely horrendous presidents.

We've had a succession of awful presidents ever since Coolidge, with only a few that just barely edge into positive for me (Ike, Carter, and Reagan).  Gerald Ford and Clinton did not have totally awful presidencies, but that was mainly due to the short timespan in the case of the first and the hostile Congress in the case of the second.

Here are various Eras of American history grouped by president. Who'se the best in each group?

Your modern eras are too small :P

Revolutionaires: Uhhh... Madison, maybe?  (I find this era in American history rather boring, and all the presidents are alike.)

Jacksonian: Taylor (I'd rather pick "NOTA" here, but Taylor was alright.)

Antebellum/Civil War: Lincoln (no question.)

Gilded Age: Garfield/Arthur (I have a soft spot for James Garfield, but Arthur was pretty cool, too)

New American Century: Taft (honorable mention for T. Roosevelt for his 1912 run)

1920's Republicans: Hoover (<3 PBrunsel)

Post-War to Veitnam: Kennedy...? (what a good era!)

Watergate: Carter ('cuz he's so much like I'd be if I were President)

Reaganite: Bush 41

Information Age: Too early to judge.

I urge all disaffected libruls who voted "Harrison" for the Jacksonian era to switch their vote to Zachary Taylor, a slaveholder who realized how seriously screwed up the South was that he ended up to the left of even many northerners on the issue by the time he died.

Also, any librul who votes for Jackson is no librul at all.

I disagree with a lot of the small groupings and cut-off points.   If it were up to me I would make the following changes:
-- I dont see why Washington shouldnt be with the Revolutionaries.
--I think JQA belongs with the Jacksonians
-- I might move Taylor to the Antebellum/Civil War group.
-- I think the New American Century and the 1920's Republican eras should be combined.
-- I'd add FDR to the post war era and call it the New Deal
-- I'd add Reagan to the Watergate group and rename it the New Right
-- Put Bush 41 with the Info Age group.

20s- Coolidge
Postwar- Truman
Watergate- Ford
Reaganite- Reagan
Information- Clinton
Edit: under different eras as proposed earlier:
Revolutionary: Washington
New deal would be FDR

I do agree that with the exception of Lincoln, Taylor was the best of the pre/post Civil War.

Red indicates a President I feel was bad, Green indicates a President that I feel was good. Bolded red indicates the worst President of the time period, whereas bolded green indicates the best President of the time period.

Do you consider Kennedy to be a bad president or just the least impressive out of five good presidents?

Least impressive out of five good Presidents. I do regard him as one of the worse Cold War Presidents, though.

McKinley isn't actually a Gilded Age President.

He's not really a Progressive Era/New American Century one either.  A transitional figure.  While the election of 1896 heralded the start of the Fourth Party System, he governed largely in a Gilded Age manner.  In a very real sense, his assassination was the end of the Gilded Era and the beginning of the Progressive Era.
